Welcome Chloé!

Our new Chihuahua. Our new family member.

B and I decided to adopt another doll into our family after hearing little miss Chloé needed a new home. She is One year old and absolutely beautiful. I know what you all are thinking/ whispering under your breath as we walk by..."How could they add another? They are so obsessed with Nay...what will the public think?" well, the verdict is in. As we all know Naomi is quite the Queen of...well, ALL, in her eyes. But to our delighted surprise, she has taken Chlo under her wing, or shall I say very slender leg. The two together are like lost sisters reunited. So what i am trying to say..is Welcome Chloé, The Duchess.

Today I took Naomi to the vet, I wish Brandon could have been there with me to keep her calm. I put her up on the exam table and the Vet weighed her in a large steel bowl placed on a scale because she was so small. 4lbs 4 oz. After which she ran right into her carrier. Then he took her back out, administered her first shot, no tears..daddies little girl is growing up..and she ran right back into her bag. Then he pulled her out for the 3rd time to give another shot and check the ol dientes. Perfect pass on both. Yet again, as you guessed, right hop back into the bag. I couldn't tell if she was scared or if she loves being surrounded by 4 monogramed Louis Vuitton walls that make up her Sac Chien ( pet carrier) I personally think its the latter. ;) He also said Nay was the best looking and healthiest Chihuahua he had seen. So for all you that think she is too skinny...guess you were wrong. :) Now for the rest of the day she is going to be her usual Diva self and lay outstretched on a down pillow in front of the fireplace.

We love this time of the year. Every thing about the Autumn! The smells, sounds of leaves falling, indiam summer and harvest..no we are not farmers..but one needs the harvest to create center peices such as this cornucopia of gords, squash, petit pumkins and indian corn.

From time to time we change what our BonJour Pig on our island says, right now it is "Autumn Leaves"...note the pumkin platter i hand painted at Color Me Mine, or is it Paint Me Yours?
